We couldn’t find the mountain while it was fog. So we
decided to ask the local guide to help us to find it. Oh God! The guide deliver
us just for a moment and got us to go straight only and jreng jreng… we found it. The
fog was really amazing. Haha! It covered it well. Actually we had been in front
of the Bromo Mountain for earlier. XD
However, it was at 5 a.m and still be unable to see the
crater. But we could see the Batok
Mountain.
It was still dark around. We couldn't see the way to the crater.
Finally we just saw the sunrise from in front of the Batok Mountain.
When the sky was bright, it’s time for us to reach the
crater. Whoa… I was really tired. Whereas I just walked for a moment. I even had
not passed the stairs yet. I had planning to count the stairs but unsuccessful.
Horrayyyyyyy!! I really wanted to say it enthusiastically
when reached the top of the crater but I was too tired so I just said “Success!”
followed by my irregular breathing. However I was really satisfied. The views were really
amazing like what people said “Land on the cloud”. Yeah, it was like we're on the cloud. Haha!
The sun was brigther. The visitors who came more and more. But it's time for us to come back. Finally, my first trip to Bromo Mountain finished. It was really nice trip!!
My wonderfulness didn’t stop there. Once again, on the way
back to Malang,
the amazing views out from agriculture. Unfortunately I didn’t have the picture. Hehe!
Here are some additional information for you:
- In the Bromo Mountain, there are some people who sell Edelwise, an everlasting flower.
- There are some restrooms, motor parking.
- But if you go there by jeep, it'll take far for you to walk. Don't worry you can ride a horse.
- There are some food sellers, too.
- If you go there from Tumpang or Desa Gubugklakah, you will pass some other attractions like temple, rafting, Coban Pelangi Waterfall, and some Desa Wisata [a village which developed as tourism]
