TRIP TO BROMO SEASON I PART 1

Hi guys! In this new year 2014, I start posting about my first trip in Bromo Mountain. But first let me to describe a little about what Bromo Mountain is. Hehe.. 

Bromo Mountain is an active volcano mountain in east java. It is also famous as a destination of tourism. Some the attractions are sunrise, crater, Padang Pasir (Sea of sand), Bukit Teletubbies, and many others. There live an ethnic of Tengger who are so friendly to the tourist :). From Bromo Mountain, the tourist can see the top of Semeru Mountain, the biggest mountain in East Java. 

Well, since I was at elementary school, I really wanted to visit there and do you know how long would it be? Yeah.. fortunately my dream to visit Bromo Mountain reached when I have been a university student, exactly in the first semester. ^_______^ I was really HAPPY. However, I almost not to go, but because of the support from my friends.. I was steady to go. Thanks to you. :))) 

It was on February 13th, 2013. The weather was still rainy. I was little worry and I also didn't have much budget for it. Hahaha! I heard that the weather was very cold, about 3°C. For Indonesian people it was really cold. It would make you wear more double jacket. However, as long as I went there it's not did by foireigner tourist. Yeah, I think because the winter is colder, right? :D And... I just wore double t-shirt and sweater. It made my roommate worried. She almost lent me her jacket and sweater. Thanks to you. Yeah, She had visited there before. She gave me many suggestions. Thanks. XD I didn't have many preparation. It made me confused what should I bring. Well, here are somethings that I brought: Water, Handycamp, Raincoat, cloth face mask, gloves. So simple, right? :D 

I and my friends went to Bromo from Malang City by motorcycle. It took about 4 hours. We went at 10 p.m. But we came by a friend's house first. Then we continued our journey at 12 a.m. Fortunately there are our friends who had visited there and their house are near by it too, about 2 hours. So they became our guide. Hihihi. Thanks to my friend's mother who made us some foods and drinks for our supplies.

The weather was colder and colder, quiet, dark, and fog but we were really really really happy. XD To reach the Bromo mountain we passed quite challange of road. It was narrow, sinuous, steep, ascend. Moreover it was at midnight, there was no street lamp, slippery, and damaged. So it needed drive more carefully. We stopped at many times. Some of the motorcycles couldn't run so we should get off and pushed it up. However it was really fun and pleasure. XD Miss the moment so much. XD

When we were in the sea of sand. We just saw fogs. The mountain couldn't be seen. So it took a long time to us to find the way to the mountain. To thrift the gasoline, we decided to out and took a rest. Because of this situation, our planning to see sunrise to be canceled. We should take a rest and waited for the sun so we could see the road and the mountain.

The weather was really cold till made me unable to sleep. Beside that I wanted to go restroom. Unfortunately the restroom were close and open at 5 o'clock while it was 2 a.m. T.T Sky was still dark and the fog weren't gone. Some jeeps came and they were ready to send the tourists to the objects. Well, we decided to follow the jeeps. But unfortunately the jeeps didn't go to the crater but view point in Penanjakan. The way was imposible for our motorcycles. So we fought back with the fog. Haha!
